Hi, and thank you for stopping by. You’ll find lots of info about how & why I wrote my WW1 novel, The Goose Road, plus general writing advice via the “Practical Writing Tips” menu (on the right on bigger screens & underneath this welcome page on phones). The first chapter is pinned to the top of the blog page if you fancy a taster or pop over to the galleries for photos. I also blog about writing on the 15th of every month at Awfully Big Blog Adventure.
New for 2020: I’ve begun a creative writing PhD at the University of Plymouth, delving into theories & practice of writing historical fiction as well as developing a novel for adults set in early 17th century England. Very exciting!
